This bachelor’s thesis focuses on designing and developing a Digital Game-based Learning (DGBL) system for primary school children to make learning more active and engaging. The application considers gamification, learning styles, and sensory activation.
A survey and expert interview helped define user needs through personas. Usability research and analysis of learning games informed the design. Wireframes were created and tested with users.
The result is a child-friendly prototype with curriculum-based content, visual and audio support, storytelling, and a guiding figure. It includes a reward system, personalization, a simple registration process, and educational mini-games.
